Who Needs a Vehicle Inspection?
An inspection is required if you're:
- Renewing registration (Mulkiya) on a vehicle older than 3 years
- Transferring ownership of a used vehicle
- Re-registering a vehicle after a long expiry
- Preparing a vehicle for export outside the UAE
People of Determination and senior citizens (UAE nationals and residents) registered in Dubai are exempt from the mandatory booking requirement and may proceed without a pre-booked slot.
